Updated Feature – Energy Price Analytics – now integrated with ICE

You can now view a whole series of price analytics, including current market prices, historical prices, trend analysis, comparison to benchmarks and comparison to market averages. All to help provide a better and more informed view of where the current market price is, and how this compares to prior periods.

Subject to customer’s subscriptions, you can also now integrate ICE prices or Marex Spectron data and take advantage of a full set of price analytics, utilising your current data subscriptions.

The improved Mark to Market (MTM) reports gives you a deeper understanding of your portfolio’s traded performance. You can view all your data on-line and easily drill through to view traded positions, open positions, and weighted cost of energy in both power and gas.

We’ve updated our price alerts to help you automatically track and monitor commodity price movements. You can set upper/lower boundaries (price triggers) on certain products e.g let me know when Summer 2020 either goes below £40 or above £50. You can also set triggers to notify you if certain products move above/below a certain % and/or price movement, e.g let me know if the price increases by more than 5%.

The system continual monitors the market for you, and lets you know when thresholds and/or market conditions meet your settings, so you can then take action as necessary.

This month, our focus is on automation and speed, to help you save time and complete your energy work as quickly as possible.

Updated Feature – Viewing large data sets has become a lot faster

Our product’s data tables have been optimised to significantly reduce the time they take to load large volumes of data.  You’ll now be able to load 10, 20, 50 thousand records of data in much faster time frames, as well as easily view, sort and search through your data.

We’re rolling this change out on “Validate Invoices” and “Multiple Site Entry” screens, with additional screens coming in the next update.

New Feature – Energy site data made easier for you and your team

With multiple stakeholders using the Energy.Hub, naming conventions for data fields and the number of data elements required can vary from customer to customer. To help you tailor the Energy.Hub for your company and processes, we’ve made it possible for Admin Users to add new fields, to update the fields names, mark them as mandatory or not, as well as add “tool tips” to help explain what fields are for.

Admin users can configure the data elements for their Energy.Hub in Settings, Data Settings and then Site Data.

Updated Feature – Automatically trap metering variances when they happen

We’ve updated our “Erratic Metering Alert”, which allows you to track variances in consumption which are deemed abnormal/unusual. You can now configure the alert to notify you daily with information on breaches over/under a define baseline in volume and percentage. The check is performed on all new meter data coming in, and alerts you immediately when the threshold is breached, helping you keep on top of data issues when they happen.
